GLADLY TRAPPED
By Tone Daley
Ocean, bay and beach,
These are the things within my reach.
Believing that staying was the right course,
A decision I’ve made without remorse.
Lucky traveler, I am.
One who got in before the door was slammed.
Planning one big thing each day
And then deciding which game to play.
Ball dog beach swim and rest
Read cabana meditate, the best.
Only the two of us to decide when to eat.
This space-time freedom is such a treat.

Shark attacks near shorelines, beaches and in bays have been on the increase in recent years. This includes encouraging marine life, both predator and prey, to move closer to the shore. (All scientifically and observationally based).
