3 WAYS TO GET LOST IN KOH LIPE
By Jason Jourdan
Ko Lipe is a Thai island in the Andaman Sea, near Malaysia’s border. It’s part of Tarutao National Marine Park, which is populated with small islands and known for its coral-rich waters. The island has sandy beaches, including Pattaya and Hat Chao Le. Dive sites in the area include the 8 Mile Rock pinnacle and the Yong Hua Shipwreck. Ko Lipe is home to many aboriginal Malay people, known as the Urak Lawoi.
This is a tiny island paradise full of adventures. Go explore….lose yourself; here are 3 ways:
Get Some Vitamin Beach
There are three beaches on Koh Lipe: Pattaya, Sunrise and Sunset. The largest beach is Sunrise. Pattaya Beach is where you can find a party. Sunset Beach is a great place to chill off the beaten path after a long day of exploring

Speaking of Sunrise Beach and Sunset Beach….follow their names to some spectacular views.
Dive in to Adventure
Did someone say dive? The water around this island paradise is shallow and clear, and there are plenty of reefs to explore in the underworld. If underwater is not your thing, stay on top and rent a kayak. You can even paddle yourself to the neighboring island, Ko Adang – the trip should take you around 1 hour each way.
